How does RentNeighbors work?

The fastest path is a request: 1. Post a request with what you need, your dates, an optional max daily price, and your location. 2. Neighbors within their alert radius get a notification that someone nearby needs the item. 3. An owner responds by creating a listing — public, or private to just you. 4. You book that listing like any rental: pay through Stripe Checkout, the owner approves, you meet up and confirm check-in and check-out.

You can also skip the request and browse or search existing listings directly, within whatever distance you want, and book one with available dates.

For owners: 1. Post a listing with photos, a price per day, and your location — or respond to a request near you. 2. Renters request to book; you approve and meet them to hand off the item. 3. When they return it, both of you confirm check-out and your earnings hit your Stripe account.

Everything money-related runs through Stripe — we never touch your card or bank details directly.
