How do requests work?
Post what you need; nearby owners are notified and respond with listings.
A request tells neighbors what you need. You provide a title, your dates, an optional maximum daily price, and your location with a radius.
When you post, neighbors within their alert radius get a push or email notification that there's a new request near them. An owner responds by creating a listing for your request — either public (added to the marketplace for everyone) or private (visible only to you).
You're notified of each response. Open the response listing, pick your dates, and book it through the normal rental flow — Stripe Checkout, owner approval, check-in, and check-out all work the same as any other rental.
Requests close automatically at your end date or after 30 days, whichever comes first. You can also close a request manually if you've found what you need.
