What does RentNeighbors charge?
15% of the rental price, taken from the owner's earnings.
We take 15% of the rental fee on every transaction. The renter pays the listed price; the owner receives 85%. We don't charge renters extra service fees on top.
Example: a $20/day rental for 3 days = $60 total. - Renter pays $60 + any security deposit. - Platform fee: $9 (15% of $60). - Owner's payout: $51. - Security deposit: refunded to renter on check-out.
The same 15% applies to sale transactions. Drop-off fees (when an owner offers delivery) pass through 100% to the owner — no fee on those.
