A general rule: 5-10% of replacement cost per day works for most tools and equipment. Another useful anchor is Home Depot's 4-hour rental rate for a comparable tool — that's a fair full-day price between neighbors.
Higher prices get fewer bookings but bigger payouts. Lower prices fill your calendar and build review history. Most owners experiment over the first few weeks.
