Should I approve or decline a request?
It's your call. Look at the renter's profile, reviews, and the dates.
When a renter requests your item, you'll get an in-app and email notification. Open the request to see:
- The renter's name, profile, and review history
- Their requested dates
- Any message they sent
- The total payout for the booking
Approve if you're comfortable. Decline if the dates don't work, you don't recognize the user, or the request looks off. Declining is fine and doesn't hurt your standing — owners decline for legitimate reasons all the time.
If you decline, the renter's authorization is voided immediately and they're notified. If you don't respond before the check-in deadline (3 days after the rental's start date), our system auto-cancels for you.
