How do I manage notifications?

Settings → Notifications. Toggle email and (eventually) push.

In Settings, the "Notifications" section has toggles for:

  • Email notifications. When a notification fires (rental requested, message received, review left, etc.) we send an email in addition to the in-app notification. Off by default in some cases, on by default in most.
  • Push notifications. When you've installed the future RentNeighbors mobile app, this controls whether notifications fan out to your phone. Currently the toggle exists ahead of the mobile app shipping.

In-app notifications (the bell icon in the navbar) are always on — toggling email/push doesn't silence the in-app stream, just the secondary channels.
