How do I manage notifications?
Settings → Notifications. Toggle email and (eventually) push.
In Settings, the "Notifications" section has toggles for:
- Email notifications. When a notification fires (rental requested, message received, review left, etc.) we send an email in addition to the in-app notification. Off by default in some cases, on by default in most.
- Push notifications. When you've installed the future RentNeighbors mobile app, this controls whether notifications fan out to your phone. Currently the toggle exists ahead of the mobile app shipping.
- Request alerts. A toggle plus a radius controlling whether you're notified when a neighbor posts a request near you. On by default with a 10-mile radius.
In-app notifications (the bell icon in the navbar) are always on — toggling email/push doesn't silence the in-app stream, just the secondary channels.
